Coach Shane Eans enters his twentieth season as an assistant at Apollo. Coach Eans coaches the defensive linemen. Coach Eans has coached in all of Apollo’s playoff appearances.
Coach Eans is a native of Daviess County, Kentucky where he attended and played football at Apollo High School. He was a two-time All-Conference performer on the offensive and defensive line. He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelors degree in Physical Education and a Master’s degree in Health and Physical Education. Coach Eans also played football at WKU from 1988-1992. Coach Eans and his wife Hope have three children, Logan who is thirteen, Keely who is eleven and Morgan who is eight.
Coach Kris Crawford is a native of Daviess county and is involved in many community projects and activities. He is a graduate of Daviess county High School, where he lettered all 4 years in football and track and is also a graduate from Indiana State University. Kris is married to Christy Rates Crawford with 4 children; Jalen, Malik, Olivia and Katelyn. Kris is also a graduate of the Indiana Department of Corrections law enforcement academy.
Kris has coached football for over a decade with this being his first year on the high school level. He is a diehard fan of the NFL Oakland Raiders. We welcome Kris as a defense and line backers coach.
